Entices are being accepted from February 1-29 for the California State Fair Home Wine Competition. The competition is open to California residents entering wines made from California grapes. Entries may be delivered or dropped off at the Fair, or dropped-off at several off-site locations throughout the state. See details and entry information at the Fair’s website.
The California State Fair Home Wine Competition is one of the two required contests to compete in the Club’s Winemaker of the Year competition. The other required competition is SHW’s Jubilee Wine Competition. This year’s Jubilee Wine Competition is on May 18 with the Picnic – Awards Ceremony on May 19.
