The California State Fair Home Wine Competition is accepting entries from February 1 – 28, 2025. With over 700 entries, this statewide contest is one of the most popular amongst California home winemakers. See this link for the guidebook and entry details.
Entries may be delivered to CalExpo or dropped off at various locations (see Guidebook). Additionally, SHW members may bring their entries to the February 19 Club meeting. Only entries entered online and affixed with the appropriate bottle label can be accepted.
This competition is one of the two required contests to compete for the Club’s 2025 Winemaker of the Year award.
