The California State Fair continues to recognize the significance of home wine and winemakers in the State’s wine and food culture by sponsoring a statewide home wine competition. This year’s top awardees were honored with an awards ceremony on May 11 where competition entrants were invited to taste some of the wines that floated to the top.

The State Fair invites the Club to participate in promoting home wine making. In addition to the wine competition and the awards ceremony, SHW members can volunteer to staff the home wine making booth during the Fair’s run from July 12-28. Go here for the details.
