Winemaking Equipment Loan Program
Sacramento Home Winemakers has invested in equipment that is available for members to use for a nominal fee: destemmer-crusher, scales, basket presses, and filter. Members must be certified (trained) before borrowing Club equipment.
Folsom Lake College Wine Analysis Service
Folsom Lake College’s Viticulture and Enology program offer wine and must analysis panels at no cost to SHW members.
SHW offers wine analyses of your wines for pH, TA, pH+TA, free SO2, malic acid to show completion of MLF, and residual sugar (RS). Instructions at the link above.
