Amos and Wreatha Olson are sponsoring a purchase from Naggiar Vineyards in Grass Valley. These are very well managed grapes and Amos has a personal relationship with the vineyard manager and with him will walk the vineyard during the summer to keep an eye on the quality. Amos and Wreatha have been buying these grapes since 2020 and every varietal they have entered from Naggiar’s fruit has won gold in various competitions. The price is $1.20 a pound, delivered to the Olson’s crush pad in Auburn. You assist in the crush, using their stemmer crusher. The following varietals are available:
- Syrah
- Petite Sirah
- Barbera
- Cab Franc
- Cabernet Sauvignon
- Tempranillo
- Zinfandel
- Mourvedre
Amos and Wreatha contract with Naggiar and pay a 50% deposit up front. If you are interested in any of these varietals, you will need to pay the same 50% deposit to defray their out of pocket.
