Several SHW members have received gold medals from wines made from Gene Glaeser’s Chardonnay and many commercial wineries have also received gold and double golds with the same grape.
Gene has 8 tons of Chardonnay for sale. He also has 1 ton each of Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon available. Crusher/stemmer and press are available based on amount purchased.
His vineyard is in Davis, Solano County District 5. Harvest for the Chardonnay should be in the second or third week of September.
