When we come to a fork in the road, we have options which result in different outcomes. Making wine and cultivating a vineyard is much of the same. It helps to have seasoned winemakers and viticulturists available to guide you in making those decisions. How do you find mentors?

Come to the Club meetings and taste other attendees’ wines. We like to share because, ya know, we’re proud of our wines. If you like the wine, ask the winemaker about the wine (grapes, technique, magic) and if they would like to mentor you.

Ask Mentor Coordinator Donna Bettencourt to match you with a Cluib mentor. She has curated a group of mentors who are offering to guide new and experienced winemakers, help with making particular style of wines including red, white, rose, and port, and vineyard management. Mentors can help you get started, stay on track, and get you back on the course if you find surprises. Contact Donna at donnab1045@gmail.com.
