Doug MacKenzie has several varieties of his grapes for sale: Sangiovese, Grenache, Viognier, Picpoul Blanc, Vermentino, and Fiano. Wines made from his grapes have captured top awards in competitions.
The vineyard is located in Yolo County about 8 miles north of Winters. It is at the base of the foothills of the coast range.

The viognier usually ripens in early August. The sangiovese is last – late sep/early oct.
