Sacramento Home Winemakers recognizes excellence in winemaking with its annual Winemaker of the Year (WOY) award. This memorial award honors Rex Johnston who excelled in many styles of home wine making, was a fierce competitor, and readily shared his wine making expertise.
The WOY competition has several requirements including mandatory competitions within the award year. Please refer to the award’s selection criteria for the details.
