On Sunday, picnickers voted on the wine bottle labels. Third place went to Terry and Regina Overstreet for their POCA label. Second place went to Amos and Wreatha Olson for their Lux Veri label. The label that received the most votes was Tony Devine’s Backyard Wines. Congratulations!

Many thanks to the almost 50 volunteers plus 5 panels of judges who made the Jubilee happen. Special thanks to Judy Pinegar and family who again generously offered their beautiful home winery for this big event; Chef Marty Wilde for the delicious smoky pork sliders; Heather Rodgers for coordinating the label competition AND the silent auction; and to Wine Competition Coordinator Mike Menard.

The bottle neck medals (awards) will be available at the July SHW meeting. If you didn’t get your judging sheets at the picnic, they’ll be at the June and July meetings.
